Climbing the stairway.

Welcome to the weekly update on the activities and progress of the Chaitanya Kul. This week, the learning space continued its efforts to provide a well-rounded education to its children with various activities and programs.

The weekly campus cleaning took place on Saturday, and it was successful in promoting collective togetherness and keeping the premises clean. Everyone participated and saw it as their contribution to the community.

Navedita's fourth art session was held on Friday instead of Thursday. The session focused on drawing expressions on faces, which was well received by the children. This is just one of the many engaging and educational art sessions that are offered by Navedita.

The children were treated to a delicious lunch of black rajma on Sunday, which they had requested. The learning space continues to encourage healthy eating habits among its students.

The fellowship program, which aims to partner with TFIx, is in the final stages. Satyam, one of the facilitators, went to Delhi for the final round and will be returning on Sunday. The learning space is excited to embark on this partnership to further enhance the education and opportunities of its students.

The academic focus for the week was on building the younger students' confidence in their abilities. The facilitator used activities such as counting and basic maths, intentionally challenging the students to think for themselves and build their self-confidence. The older students were taught MS Excel, with Siddharth, one of the facilitators, providing virtual classes to equip them with the skills to manage their finances in the future.

Basketball continues to be a popular activity at the local court, with the children gradually improving their skills. Avinash has been running drills to increase their endurance and stamina, and the children have been watching games to improve their understanding of the sport.

Finally, the music class has been successfully launched, and the introductory class was well received by the students. The class aims to provide a basic understanding of music's structure and elements, and it is expected that more students will join in the future.

Overall, it has been an eventful week at the Chaitanya Kul, with various activities and programs that promote the development of the children. Our learning space continues to provide a well-rounded education, which allows the students to learn and have fun at the same time. We look forward to seeing the progress of the children in the coming weeks.
